It will be the first time in 25 years the popular country rock band won’t perform at Tamworth Country Music Festival.
The band’s biggest concern is making sure Le Year makes a speedy recovery, drummer John Clinton said.
“But it is so disappointing for all of the band to miss catching up with everyone at the biggest festival of the year,” he said.
Le Year and the band are known for giving their time to people with disabilities and their annual Poker Run that’s continued for 20 years to raise funds for children’s causes.
The band hasn’t had to cancel a gig in its history, but will not be performing at The Longyard in January as a result of the major medical emergency.
