WITH Christmas less than 10 days away, Tamworth had a chance to get some last minute shopping at the bustling stalls on Peel Street on Sunday morning.
The main drag was bustling in the morning with plenty of punters reaching for their wallets and grabbing some trinkets and stocking-stuffers.
It capped-off a festive weekend in Tamworth, following the Santa Pub Crawl on Friday night which saw more than 1100 people raise about $20,000 for Ronald McDonald House.
Next week could be locals’ last chance to snavel a market bargain before December 25 with the Calala markets rounding out the shopping season.
