After forfeiting the first round against Tamworth, due to six players available, a side has been put together to take on Inverell this Sunday for the third round.
Reigning premiers Easts dominate the squad with six selections, three players from City, two from Guyra and one from Hillgrove.
Easts captain Todd Francis will lead the side which will play in Armidale.
Karl Triebe returns to the team after one appearance in Armidale representative colours last year and is looking forward to the challenge.
“It looks like we have a really good side, a strong side,” he said.
“It is a credit to those who have organised that. It is really good to see, to put a good Armidale side on the park.”
The first fixture against Tamworth saw a host of senior Armidale players unable to commit.

Although there are still a handful of the competition’s top players unavailable for this Sunday, Triebe believes it would be a daunting task for any opposition team to come up against them.
“When we can get the best 11 or 12 players on the park we are actually a pretty formidable side, it is just getting everyone to commit,” he said.
“It looks like Toddy has done a good job, kicking us all up the arse to get us on the park.”
