
THE Tamworth rescue chopper flew to two separate motorbike accidents on the weekend.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to Inverell to retrieve a 31-year-old man who’d sustained head injuries in motorbike stack at Ashford.
NSW Ambulance crews treated the man and transported him to the Inverell airport where he was then taken by chopper to Tamworth hospital.

He was reported to be in a stable condition on Sunday morning.
On Saturday the Tamworth chopper to Merotherie, north of Gulgong to pick up a 58-year-old man who had broken his leg in a motorbike accident.
He was also flown to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital and was also reported to be in a stable condition.
