Staff at Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution villages were celebrated recently, as part of the Health Services Union’s Thank You For Working in Aged Care Day.
From sausage sizzles to pamper parties, teams came together to celebrate the work they do and the difference they make to the lives of older people in the community.
It was also an opportunity to recognise those staff who have celebrated a work anniversary, with more than 135 certificates of service being awarded on the day.
“We know that we are only as strong as the staff we have working with us, so making sure that we recognise and appreciate them is very important to us,” RFBI chief executive Frank Price said.
