The remaining tickets to Sterling’s Star Ball are expected to fly out the door of Cody and Co by the end of the week, after over half the tickets went in under 36 hours.
Organiser Kylie Wilson is optimistic the ball can get the fundraiser to the $40,000 target that will not only see the entire eight member Rodda family got o Hawaii, but might also see Sterling get to see the snow next winter before Wolfram Syndrome takes his sight.
“The business community is starting to really get on board now,” Ms Wilson said.
“We have had diamond earrings, a Bali Villa stay, a homestay in Orange and a Jack Massey woodwork table donated for auction already.”
On Saturday Sterling will tick the first box off his bucket list when he takes a joy flight around the Tamworth district in a plane.
