The competition has expanded and will be run over two nights.
The women’s and men’s senior competitions will be played on Thursday evenings while juniors – 17s and under – for both boys and girls will go ahead on Friday evenings.
While junior nominations can be done as a full team and individually, the organisers want to mix and even the teams out in the senior competitions.
“We’re looking for individual nominations but if people know they’re going to have friends they can mention that in their email and we can try and pair a few of them up,” organiser and Tamworth Rugby Club player Rory Marshman said.
“But we want it to be very social. We don’t want teams to come in and stick to themselves.”
The competition is in its third year and Marshman hoped it would continue to grow.
“The reason we split it over two nights was because it was becoming too big. It’d be great to grow those two nights now they’re separate,” he said.
Each competition will run for six weeks with each team playing two games a night.
The seniors start on October 11 and the juniors on October 19.
It costs $50 for juniors and $60 for seniors to register which covers insurance and includes the jersey.
The jerseys for the 2018 competition will be Australiana theme with native flora and fauna to feature in the design.
To nominate, send an email to tamworthsummer7s@gmail.com with your name, age, email and phone number.
