JOHN Farnham will headline a benefit concert in support of drought-stricken farmers at Scully Park later this year.
The gig titled ‘Hay Mate: Buy a Bale — A Concert For The Farmers’ will take place on Saturday, October 27 with The Voice himself leading a line-up tipped to be filled with a litany of stars.
Guy Sebastian and Adam Harvey already confirmed for the gig.
The concert is being supported by West’s Entertainment Group, News Corporation and Channel 9 with all money raised going to Rural Aid.
Talks are under way to run a live telethon on the night.
More details of the concert will be revealed in coming weeks.
The concert comes just days after the entire state of NSW had been drought declared.
