The Tamworth girls made paintings of happy animals to auction on the Facebook page, ‘giving back to a couple of local farmers’.
“We wanted to help the farmers, they need help with food,” nine-year-old Lily said.
“I thought farmers would want to see happy animals, I felt happy because I was helping the farmers.”
The paintings sold for a combined $300 to a family friend, with locals commenting their praise for the girls efforts.
