THREE juveniles were in custody late on Tuesday as investigations continue into an alleged break-and-enter in Tamworth.
About 2pm on Tuesday, officers were alerted to reports of a break-and-enter occurring in Bourne Street in Coledale.
Within minutes, police from the Oxley Target Action Group (TAG) and general duties police arrested three youths.
“Police were alerted to the incident and attended shortly after,” a spokesperson for Oxley police said.
“Three young persons were apprehended in the vicinity.
“An amount of property was recovered in possession of one of the youths and investigations continue.”
The trio were taken to Tamworth Police Station where they were being questioned by investigators.
No charges had been laid late on Tuesday.
