A-Grade Moree Boomerangs have shown no mercy against Armidale Rams on the weekend, after the local rugby league team thrashed the opposition with a 94-12 victory.
The win puts the Boomerangs at the top of the ladder as they share 16 points with second-place Inverell Hawks and third-place Moree Boars.

Boomeranhs ladies league-tag capped off the winning trend with a 22-18 victory. The team sits on the second rung of the ladder with 14 points. First-place Glen Innes Magpies take the lead with 16 points.
