For the second time in about two months, a Tamworth shopper has become a millionaire after buying a Saturday Lotto ticket at Memories Newsagency.
And – again – the mystery ticketholder is an unregistered player and is yet to be found after the draw.
When they do come forward, they will be able to claim just over $1 million.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said he urged people to check their tickets.
“Our Tamworth winner may be busy enjoying the public holiday, completely oblivious to their million-dollar windfall,” he said.
“Imagine how your plans for the rest of the week and the rest of your life might change with a million dollars in the bank.
“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
Four share in win
The Tamworth entry was one of four division-one winning entries nationally.
Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,001,158.26.
The winning entry is not registered to a Players Club card, so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.
Instead, they must wait until the ticketholder makes contact to claim their prize.
The six winning numbers were 7, 26, 25, 10, 22 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 30 and 43.
