Uralla’s league tag side continued their dominance in the second division competition with another emphatic win over Tenterfield.
Missing a handful of players through Greater Northern commitments, the host team posted a 32-4 win.
Coach Kerry Brett said his side continued to improve on their attacking play and was glad to get the win despite having one reserve on the bench.
“I guess the support play is improving which was good on the weekend,” he said.
“They scored some good support play-type tries through that. We only let one in and I guess coaches are never happy with letting any in but that was pretty pleasing.”
This Sunday will be a top-of-the-table clash against the Walcha Jillaroos. The two teams met in round one with the Tigers taking a 32-16 win.
“It is going to be our toughest game of the season. I am not expecting a whole lot in it because I am expecting Walcha to be a whole lot better than when we played them in the first round,” Brett said.
