A MAN remains on conditional bail charged with assaulting a staff member and failing to quit a Tamworth hotel.
Lachlan Wilcox, 27, is accused of common assault, behaving in an offensive manner at the Post Office Hotel and being an excluded person who failed to quit after alleged incidents about 9.30pm on April 21.
He was arrested at the scene shortly after.
Wilcox did not appear in Tamworth Local Court on Monday for his case where prosecutors were ordered to compile a brief of evidence. He is yet to formally enter pleas.
As part of his bail conditions, Wilcox is prohibited from entering any licensed premises in the Tamworth local government area and must be of good behaviour and not approach any witnesses or the alleged victim.
Prosecutors have been ordered to serve a brief before the case returns to court in June.
