She “came down” from Uralla to play with the Collegians Warriors in last year’s Group 4 ladies league tag competition and enjoyed herself so much she is returning to play with North Tamworth in the 2018 Woodleys Isuzu Ute Group 4 ladies league tag premiership.
Barraclough, who runs the Uralla Golf Club, was also a member of the Group 4 side that won the GN title in Armidale last year.
“We went well last year,” she said of a side coached by Tim Walsh last year with Damien Allan as his manager.
“Had a good side.”
A five-eighth or pivot, Barraclough hopes to rekindle last year’s heroics with another strong individual game inside a good team effort.
She said the side has a good core with a number of them, such as Kimberley Resch and Aimee Diebold, having “played together for a long while”.
“We’ve also got some good young players too,” she said.

Allan is also looking forward to the Scone GN Championships.
Now coach he sees plenty of pluses in a strong side.
“It’s coming together well,” Allan said.
“We’ve got a good squad of 18. Play 21 first up 9am then 19 at 11.15am.”
“We did win it last year, I think we’ve won the last couple and got a fair few in the Greater Northern side too.”
He said the mixture of youth and experience is a potent force in his squad as they began their final training session on Jack Woolaston Oval Thursday night.
