
THE family of murdered woman Teah Luckwell have said their final farewells, laying the mother-of-one to rest in an emotional graveside service.
There was a sea of purple as close to 200 people surrounded the coffin for the memorial of the slain 22-year-old on Friday afternoon at the Tamworth cemetery.
Teah’s brother, David Luckwell, delivered a heartfelt eulogy to his younger sister, who they called ‘Tiwi’ or ‘T’.
In front of her young daughter, her mother, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends, Mr Luckwell described Teah as the “bubbly” girl who “always looked beautiful” and “loved fashion, jewellery and make-up”.
“Teah was bubbly, outgoing, funny and silly at times, and just simply like no other,” he said.
Family and friends carried Teah’s coffin to the gravesite, with Beyonce’s Halo playing in the background as a tribute.
“Teah loved to sing. She auditioned for X-factor a few times, enjoying the excitement and atmosphere that included,” Mr Luckwell said in his eulogy.

Mr Luckwell said his sister was “also headstrong and stubborn”.
“If she had an opinion she told you, whether you wanted to hear it or not. When she made her mind up to do something, she did it, no matter what anyone had to say,” he said.

Homicide investigators were among the mourners who paid their respects on Friday afternoon at the memorial service, as the investigations into her murder continue.

Mr Luckwell said he was part of “a family in grief, in mourning and still in shock”.
