Boy, 6, recovering in hospital after cattle yard accident at Piallaway

A YOUNG boy has sustained a head injury in an accident in the cattle yards of a Piallaway property. 

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter and emergency services were tasked to the incident about 1pm on Saturday.

The six-year-old boy, who sustained a head injury, was treated by paramedics and the helictoper medical team, before being flown to Tamworth hospital with his mother. 

He is reported to be in a stable condition.
