The Tamworth and Districts Antiques Motor Club hosted the three-day event that kicked off with a 100km ride on Friday.
“We had 75 entries from Queensland and NSW,” rally secretary David Smith said. “Last year we had snow, this year we had rain, but it didn’t deter most of the riders.”
Riders clocked up more than 500km on the road over the three days – and it was all for a good cause.
“This year alone we’ve donated $2000 to four different charities from the last run – Riding for the Disabled, Challenge, Westpac Helicopter and Ronald McDonald House,” Mr Smith said.
“Over the last seven years we’ve donated over $8500. There were lots of lovely bikes, but people don’t see the value in the worth of the bike, they see the joy of getting together with old friends.”
