The tractor trek is heading east this year, travelling via the Kamilaroi Highway to Paynes Lane, then to Quipolly Dam for morning tea.
From there it will head back in towards Quirindi via the Borah Creek Road to Rowntrees Lane and then out to Gaspard through the Seven Creeks.
Lunch is at Wallabadah with the group then heading back to the Heritage Village on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday morning, a street parade will be held in Quirindi from 9.30am with vintage cars, trucks and tractors heading out towards the Village. The Tamworth RSL band will be playing in the street.
From 7am, the swap sites will be busy and with more than 130 sites booked there will be a wide variety of items on offer, from car parts to antiques, from native trees from the community nursery to freshly hatched chickens and ducklings.
At the village there will be plenty of activity with the blacksmith's working, the miniature trains running, stationery engines turning over and numerous other things happening.
The coffee shop is well stocked to provide morning tea and lunches, the Lions will have their barbecue operating and the CWA ladies serving sandwiches and drinks.
The feature this year is garden tractors and implements, and more than 20 of these small workhorses will be on the grounds.
The model train group will have part of their new display working and the woodworking team will also have a display with some items for sale.
Sheep will be shorn, yarn will be spun and woven and there will be much for the ladies to see.
On Sunday, the swap meet continues and the highlight of that day is the woodchop with some of the state's finest axemen competing in numerous events including the spectacular tree felling.
The miniature trains will be running again on the Sunday.
