Sisters Rachel and Bec Olsson released True North in November and the EP is a reflect of the direction they are heading in their careers.
They’ll perform at the Post Office Hotel on Saturday, January 21 from 5pm, with a host of other concerts during the big event.
They’ll launch their next single from the EP - True North at the festival.
It’s been two years since their last release, having only been together as a duo for three years - but Rachel Olsson said the sisters have finally found their feet.
“With this EP it really feels like we finally have a good sense of direction, that’s how we ended up with our name - True North,” she said.
“We have been developing our sound for that long, but being sisters we have been singing together our whole lives.”
The duo worked with award-winning producer Matt Fell on their release and were happy with the earthy warm tones it delivered.
“We wanted something pulled back to basics to hear those beautiful core instruments, rhythms and beats,” she said.
Among Rachel Olsson’s favourite songs on the EP were Sister - about the love she, Rebecca and their third sister share together.
“It doesn’t matter how far apart we are and how different we are,” she said.
“We always stand united and are always there for each other.”
