"Amber has clearly worked very hard to ensure her team enjoys their football experience," Haynes said.
"The passion, enthusiasm and commitment to her players makes Amber a worthy recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Community Coach of the Month Award."
She will receive a coaching pack inclusive of balls, markers, bibs, whistle, polo shirt and cap courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist in continuing to fulfil her valuable coaching role at the club.
"Coaching plays a vital role in developing the skills and attitude of young players and it is great that Newcastle Permanent can provide the opportunity to recognise the efforts of local coaches who are dedicated to developing their players," Newcastle Permanent Mobile Lending Manager Armidale, Colleen Chaffey, said.
May was nominated by Tamworth FC for her ongoing commitment and dedication to football.
"Deirdre has shown true dedication to Tamworth FC for a significant period of time and the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award is well deserved," Haynes said.
"The passion and commitment that Deirdre demonstrates goes a long way to ensuring that Tamworth FC is a great place to play football and highlights how valuable she is to the club."
Meanwhile, Northern Inland Football's McDonalds-sponsored Premier League heads into Round 14 this weekend with games in Narrabri, Tamworth, Moree and Armidale.
The clash between second-placed OVA and third-placed Demon Knights at Rologas Field, Armidale appears the most enticing.
