ACTIVITIES as part of the school holiday program at Tamworth Public School this week had a decidedly NAIDOC feel yesterday.
About 45 children are taking part in the program for the next two weeks.
The rain yesterday made for an “inside” kind of day, so they put their artistic talents to the test, decorating boomerangs, before a sausage sizzle lunch.
Today, the children are being asked to come dressed as their favourite superhero.
The program wraps up next Friday with a pyjama party for the little ones aged five to eight.
