During the past year they've worked to break down the stereotypes surrounding country music and have a new EP to share.
Holly Moore, one third of the girl group, with Tiara Maceri and Peta Ingleton, said they were a bit more prepared this year, after experiencing the festival the first time in 2014.
"We didn't know what to expect last time," she said.
"It was a big shock last time, but the reaction of people is absolutely amazing.
"We have really high expectations of our crowds and we want to set the bar high and create a nice following up there."
Moore said they had achieved plenty since their last Tamworth visit, including performances with Kaylee Bell and Morgan Evans at CMC Rocks the Hunter and building their fan base.
"We want to take some new fans along with us for next year's ride," she said.
"We want to show everyone what we are about. We met some amazing people in Tamworth who have been amazing for us this year and followed us around last year.
"This time we want to meet some new people and we are so excited to see everyone else. You don't get time to see everyone during the year."
The singer said they loved that there was music everywhere in Tamworth during the festival.
"Last year we didn't really know what to expect, but the feeling that you get coming back is you just want to be there 24/7 and be surrounded by people who love country music," she said.
"At the festival, people just love hearing music and people love up-and-coming artists."
The girls released their EP at the end of 2014 so that it would be available during the festival.
"It's got two singles and three acoustic tracks that we thought would be a little bit raw and a nice change to what we have released so far," Moore said.
"Tamworth is the first time that people can buy the hard copy."
After the festival, Victoria Avenue have more performances planned, including an appearance at CMC Rocks Queensland in March and an east coast tour.
"We also would love to think about releasing an album later in the year," Moore said.
"We are just doing gigs and jumping on some more tours as support and seeing where the road takes us."
As an aside to their music, the three women from the Hills district of Sydney have also scored an ambassadorial role with swimwear label Island Estate.
