Cyril Brett Baker was escorted out of Tamworth Local Court by local sheriffs and a prosecutor on Monday after disrupting proceedings and being asked to leave by a detective and police after making his way to Tamworth District Court.
Police were called to the courthouse again yesterday to intervene after Baker reappeared.
Following the public outbursts, Magistrate Michael Holmes issued a court order banning him from the court precincts.
The ban was yesterday served on the local resident, who protested to a number of officers outside the court while one of his friends was removed from the precinct for a similar outburst.
The 28-day banning notice was issued under the Court Security Act and is believed to have been one of the first issued in Tamworth in several years.
Baker has appeared regularly before local courts after he was convicted of traffic offences but continually challenged the court’s jurisdiction, arguing it had no power without a jury.
Baker maintains the laws and legal system are unlawful.
He remains before Armidale Local Court on charges he allegedly assaulted a police prosecutor and a police officer in Scone last year during a hearing.
