The seven-year-old cow, Icy Eve, was one of seven cattle the Wilsons, from Tamworth, showed that either won or came in the top two of their respective classes.
Icy Eve was named Grand Champion Jersey, then went on to be named the best out of all the cattle breeds on show.
Two other heifers owned by the Wilsons also topped their respective classes – one won Intermediate Champion and the other was named Junior Champion Heifer.
But it was Icy Eve that stole the show.
“It’s never happened in the history of the Sydney Easter Show that a cow’s won it three times,” Mr Wilson said.
“She’s very good – but there’s a lot of things that have to go right to make that happen.”
He said he was “excited” and “proud” that Shirlinn Jerseys had done so well and thanked his parents – Lindsay and Shirley – and sons Todd and Matt, and daughter Brooke for all their hard work.
Mr Wilson said he “couldn’t dream of a better promotion” leading up to the first sale their business, Shirlinn Jerseys, will have had for 25 years next month.
Mr Wilson said 61 head would be sold starting at noon on May 22 at the Australian Equine Livestock and Events Centre in Tamworth.
“Seven of those we’re selling we had at the show; lot one will be Icy Eve’s son,” Mr Wilson said.
