Brindabella and Qantas to share services

QANTAS yesterday announced it will codeshare on Brindabella Airline services from August 1.

This means that customers travelling on the Brindabella-operated service between Brisbane and Tamworth and the new service between Moree and Sydney will enjoy a wide range of Qantas benefits.

Frequent flyer points for all tickets will apply, passengers will have access to Qantas lounges, and baggage will be checked through to onward domestic and international services.

Qantas domestic chief executive officer Lyell Strambi said the airline was delighted to offer Qantas benefits to customers travelling on Brindabella Airlines.

“Today’s announcement underlines Qantas’ commitment to regional Australia, as we continue to invest in new aircraft, increase capacity and improve our airport and lounge facilities for our customers across the country.”
