Motorists are advised of to be aware of changed traffic conditions on the Great Western Highway between Bathurst and Lithgow from Wednesday, March 10. The changes will be in place at Mount Lambie, about about 40km east of Bathurst, for investigation work. Roads and Maritime Services advises the night work will involve investigation of the current road condition and is expected to be completed over one night between 7pm and 6am, however, may extend to a second night if required, weather permitting. ALSO MAKING NEWS: Changed traffic conditions will be in place during work hours, including single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h for the safety of workers and motorists. Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
