A NSW Health spokesperson has clarified there were no new cases of COVID-19 recorded this week. However there is still one active case on the heat map in the Southern Highlands. NSW Health has confirmed the case is in the 2575 postcode. The area has had 10 total cases. According to NSW Health data, the last recorded case of COVID-19 in the Wingecarribee Shire was July 14. Active cases are locally-acquired COVID-19 cases with onset in the last four weeks. This is based on the date the person first developed symptoms. Meanwhile the NSW Health heat map states there were four active cases in Balmoral. The village, which falls into the Wollondilly Shire according to NSW Health, has had six total cases.
