And he reckons moving from three rounds to four will remove it.

"I came to this realisation and I think it could help a lot of fans' trust in LIV a little bit more, because that's a lot of the complaints that I see from a lot of people," Rahm told reporters on Wednesday in Adelaide.

The former world No.1 is doubling down on his desire for four-round LIV events, suggesting golf follow football - same rules, whatever the elite competition in the world.

"But at the end of the day, LIV is a business. If it doesn't fit the product, it doesn't fit the product," Rahm said.

"I'm just a player.

"There's a lot of people that are a lot smarter than me that can figure it out and explain why they believe 54 holes may be better for them."

LIV Golf chief Greg Norman says the Spanish superstar's urgings are being heard.

"We will continue to have that conversation going forward," Norman told reporters.

Rahm, whose career is studded by 11 wins on the US PGA Tour including two majors and eight triumphs elsewhere, said being in contention felt the same regardless of the tournament length.

"The competition is the same," he said.

"Going down the stretch with a one- or two-shot lead or one- or two-shot deficit, the feelings are all the same."

Rahm was reportedly paid $US300 million ($A460 million) to play on the LIV circuit, which holds Adelaide in esteem as the tour's benchmark.

The 29-year-old said when people spoke of LIV Adelaide "there was no negatives''.

"Great city, great golf course, great fans - emphasising great fans," Rahm said.

"I have seen the golf course a little bit and I can see why everybody was raving about it."

He said he planned to revel in the Australian atmosphere at The Grange from Friday, saying his favourite tournaments are those with a buzz.

"When the people show up and they're more excited than you are to be here, it's what makes the tournament so great," Rahm said.
