The Bendemeer (Nock) and Tamworth (Slade) cowboys have been named in the 10-man Team New South Wales lineup for Saturday night's state v state bullriding showdown.
Modelled on rugby league's State of Origin, the Tamworth event is a must win for NSW to keep the three part series alive after Team Queensland were victorious in the opening event in Newcastle last month.
Nock was one of the best performers for the Blues there finishing fourth in the individual competition.

Nock and Slade will be joined by Lachlan Richardson (Gresford), Trefor Sproule (Singleton), Sam Woodall (Luddenham), Oscar Leake (Dungog), Nathan Burtenshaw (Coonamble), who is one of three new contenders, Will Purcell (Albury) and Chris Wilson (Parkville). The latter two are subject to injury clearance to compete after picking up injuries at the Toowoomba event.

There will be three rounds of competition with each of the 20 bullriders attempting one bull each in Round 1 and Round 2.
The top four riders from each team will then advance to the bonus round for one final out.
The event winner will be the team with the highest combined score in the event aggregate.
The action gets underway at AELEC at 7:30pm.
