The Peel Street Market was called off earlier this month with just days to go, due to the newly introduced COVID restrictions.
Density limits and QR code requirements made the event virtually impossible to run, sparking frustration and creating headaches for organisers.
But, in a turn of events, the markets have been given the green light to return to the streets of Tamworth.
Market organiser Barry Prattern said there was a lot of work behind the scenes to get the markets up and running.

"We got onto them [NSW Health] and we even put in for an exemption," he said.
"They got the message and they let us know we were right to go."
Mr Prattern said the government's decision to allow the markets to run would be met with smiles from stallholders, especially with Christmas right around the corner.
"Stallholders were very disappointed," he said.
"They're now very happy that we're right to go in November."
Tamworth locals won't have to wait too long to grab a freshly baked cake or find a treasure amongst the stalls, with the Calala Market returning this Saturday, at the Calala Inn car park.
But keen market-goers will have to hold out a bit longer to welcome stallholders back to Peel Street, with the November edition scheduled for Sunday, November 21.
