Spirinac did more than just win on the weekend, securing a second country final appearance for 2021 and increasing Scone's representation in next month's Kosciuszko to three.

The five-year-old mare took out the Panorama at Bathurst on Sunday, which was enough to convince Manly-based slot holder Clifford Mann to confirm Spiranac's spot in the $1.3 million feature at Randwick on October 16.
Northam, which had Spiranac in the Country Championships decider earlier this year, now joins fellow Upper Hunter trainers Cameron Crockett and Stephen Jones in the Kosciuszko field.

"I got the phone call originally when the tickets were drawn, but they just wanted to wait and see how we went on the weekend before confirming. It was a very good win and now she's got a slot," Northam told the Newcastle Herald on Tuesday.
Northam, contesting his second Kosciuszko following After All That in 2018, says Spiranac's ownership is shared around 30 people from the Hunter, Newcastle and Sydney.
"They're a great bunch of guys and it's been a good little ride for them this year," he said.
Also in the Kosciuszko will be Crockett's Mr Hussill and Jones' Nadaraja.
"Scone has three trainers in the race, which is good. Hopefully one of us can get the job done," Northam said.
Defending champion It's Me, prepared in the Upper Hunter by Brett Cavanough, recently withdrew. Edit is Australian Bloodstock's confirmed runner. Victorem pulled out Tuesday leaving two spots.
