The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked on an urgent mission to a property north of Warialda this afternoon.
A 16 year old male had suffered serious burns.
The teenager was treated at the scene by the aircraft Critical Care Paramedic and Doctor with the assistance of Ambulance NSW Paramedics for extensive burns to both of his legs, his right arm and his face.
The young man has been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.
