THE Gunnedah RSL sub-branch has released its Anzac Day program, and it includes a full dawn service and march down Marquis Street.

A daytime commemoration service, Anzac Day lunch and wreath laying will also take place on Sunday, April 25.
It is news which will please many people who were keen to pay their respects after missing out on the opportunity last year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The day will kick off with a dawn service at 5:30 am, but all participants are asked to be in place and seated by 5:15.
The highly anticipated March begins at 10:15am, will people again asked to arrive 15 minutes before hand, and will be for veterans and members of the five Gunnedah emergency services.
Schools will also be allowed to march if they gain permission from the NSW Department of Education.
At 10:45am, the commemoration service will take place with special provisions being put in place to accommodate for local veterans. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, registrations will be required.

Veterans and members are also invited to the Anzac Day luncheon at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club at 12:30pm.
They must however, have registered themselves and their carer with the sub-branch secretary prior to April 17.
Organisations, clubs, schools and private citizens are all invited to take part in the wreath laying, but must also have contacted the secretary before the date mentioned.
