Making a return after last year's edition was cancelled amid the pandemic, the 2021 event attracted a full field of 200 pilots.
The first day saw pilots flying west from Mt Borah towards Baan Baa, Narrabri and Wee Waa with flights up to 130kms by the Ace pilots. The best Novice pilots flew around half the distance but with their triple bonus points system easily won the day.
Day two was windy with high cloud to start, providing only a shorter window for cross country flying later in the afternoon. With the late start the best pilots managed to fly around 60kms to Boggabri.
The last day delivered the worst of the flying conditions with variable winds limiting distances to around 10-15kms for most pilots.
