Nestled in the rolling hills of the picturesque New England countryside, Deeargee Station is known for producing some of Australia's finest wool.
It is home to a unique, octagonally-shaped woolshed built in 1872 to replace an earlier shearing shed that had been destroyed by fire.
Fleece to Fashion chairman Lachlan Fulloon of Cressbrook Merinos Armidale said there is nothing quite like the Deeargee Woolshed - a real symbol of the longstanding, high-quality wool production in the New England - therefore making it a natural location for the 2021 Fleece to Fashion Gala Awards.

"We feel honoured to host our Gala Awards in such a unique venue that will authentically showcase in fullness what Fleece to Fashion is all about," Mr Fulloon said.
"The Deeargee Woolshed is still in use today, although not open to visitors or the general public.
"I wish to thank the Sutherland family, owners of Deeargee Station, for collaborating with us, as this will be an event like no other before."
The decision to cancel the 2020 Awards was difficult but necessary, Mr Fulloon said, however the Covid-19 period had provided the Board of Directors a chance to reshape the delivery of the event and create something "distinctive and special" going forward.
