The New England Girls' School student always wanted to share the day with her parents and now with new COVID-safe guidelines announced, she can.
"To be honest, I'm pretty excited," Ms Cassidy, who is from Kingstown, said.
"It's great to be able to celebrate the culmination of 13 years of laughter and tears and all of the emotions in between."

NEGS will hold their end-of-year activities - a valedictory assembly, morning tea and formal - this Thursday.
It was important for Ms Cassidy to have her parents alongside her.
"We're very close. They definitely been with me my entire schooling career," she said.
"At the end of term three when we weren't going to go ahead with valedictory assemblies with our parents, it was sad in a way. They played a big role in shaping me to be the person that I am.
"They sacrificed a lot to send me to school, not only paying school fees but driving in and out of town, picking me up at midnight after an excursion and that sort of thing."
On Friday, NSW Education Secretary Mark Scott outlined a number of additional activities that can now take place on school grounds in line with current NSW Health advice.
"Parents and carers will be able to attend end of year presentation days as we head towards a COVID-safe summer. P&C meetings at schools can resume from November 12, and students can attend excursions to the ACT from today," Mr Scott said.
