It's the first time Moree Race Club has held an event on Derby Day, and secretary Michelle Gobbert said it was a great success.
"It was really good," she said.
"We were really happy with how it all went, especially because it was our first one."
A total of 102 people attended the long lunch trackside at Moree Racecourse, however Ms Gobbert said harvest and COVID-19 had an impact on numbers.

Originally, bookings could only be taken as tables of eight due to COVID-19 restrictions, however when that eased a few weeks ago, people were able to book individual tickets.
Millie Hooper nailed the Derby Day black and white theme, winning the Fashions on the Field.
Maree Rogers was runner-up, while Simmone Allen won best hat and Sue Burey won the lucky door prize.
All prizes were sponsored by Beauty Matters and valued at more than $1,300.

Attendees were also able to watch the live coverage of Melbourne Cup Carnival Derby Day.
Meanwhile, Moree Race Club will be eagerly watching Tuesday's Melbourne Cup, hoping for Vow and Declare to make it two in a row after drawing barrier four - Moree's barrier in the 2020 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour National Sweep.
If Vow and Declare wins, Moree will win $50,000 for the Northern NSW Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service - Moree Race Club's chosen charity.
The club is also in the process of finalising details for its popular December race day, which Ms Gobbert said will be very different this year as a result of COVID-19.
