Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Darling and Upper streets about 7.30am after reports of two cars colliding.
Authorities are investigating whether the crash was caused by one of the cars failing to give way to oncoming traffic.

East Tamworth Fire and Rescue 452 Captain Colin Ferguson said no one was injured in the accident.
"It was quite a lucky outcome because no persons were injured and no persons were trapped," Captain Ferguson told the Leader.
"Our main role at the scene was to render the scene safe and aid with traffic control.
"There was a few spillages of oil, battery acid and that sort of thing but luckily that is all cleared away now and the road has reopened.
"Both cars have been removed from the scene by towing companies and we are very lucky that no one was injured this time."
Captain Ferguson said accidents of this nature were not uncommon in parts of East Tamworth.
"There's quite a lot of give way and stop signs throughout East Tamworth and it is understandable how these sorts of things can happen," he said.
"The intersections don't all work the same in that area of East Tamworth, so it can be easy enough for someone to miss a sign, or not pay close enough attention and something like this happens.
"We urge people to take care when on the roads and be aware of these sorts of incidents."
