The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) is forecasting a strong chance of showers and maybe even a thunderstorm over the weekend, and rainy conditions could continue into early next week.
The BoM said Saturday will likely bring the onset of wet weather to Moree. There's an 80 per cent chance of between 6mm and 15mm of rain falling over the day.
Showers are expected to continue on Sunday, according to the BoM's forecast of a 90 per cent chance of between 3mm and 10mm falling.

Both days bring a chance of a thunderstorm as well.
Mid temperatures are expected in Moree, with the weekend maximum expected to be 20 on Saturday and 19 on Sunday, while temperatures could only drop as low as 9 degrees.
The BoM is forecasting a dreary start to the week as cloudy and wet weather hangs around.
There's a slight chance of showers on Monday, but otherwise it will be partly cloudy in Moree with a top of 19 expected.
The cooler mornings will return towards the end of the week, with a minimum of 5 predicted on Tuesday, 4 on Wednesday and 3 degrees on Thursday, however it is expected to warm up to a sunny 21.
