A Tamworth business says they've called the authorities after a potential COVID-19 isolation breach on the weekend.

On Sunday, Tamworth Discount Drug Store staff became "aware" of someone close to the complex who was allegedly meant to be in self-isolation, owner Lia Mahony told The Leader.
"[We were] made aware a person, who should have been in isolation, came to the Roberts Street complex but did not enter any shops," Ms Mahony explained.
The pharmacist on duty ensured the person left the complex, and the appropriate authorities were notified regarding this potential breach of isolation.

She said extra cleaning procedures were followed in line with their COVID-19 safety plan, and their test results have since come back clear of the virus.
The Leader approached the Oxley Police District for information on the alleged breach, however officers were unavailable for comment.
