Two of the top-four horses in TAB's all-in market for the final will compete at Tamworth. They are Mahalangur and Ligulate, who are both trained by Tamworth's Cody Morgan.
Morgan also has Pat's Nipper in the race, while fellow Tamworth trainer Melanie O'Gorman has Beauty Best.
Morgan said Ligulate "probably has the best credentials to win the race". "He'll get back in the second half," the trainer said. "I think the draw is good for him and [jockey] Sam [Clenton] has options."
