The music and arts festival will be held in July at North Byron Parklands and celebrates performers from all over Australia and the world.
Ms Collins said she was "over the moon" but was not expecting to be included.
"I remember going two years ago, just as a punter watching some friends play and thinking it's the coolest festival and it would be a dream to play it," she said.
"So to be playing it two years later is mindblowing."

"Having those country roots from a kid just almost took over ... and I knew that was the journey I needed to take.
"It excites me so much that country music is becoming cool in a sense, people are embracing it a lot more," she said.
"I'm just going to do me - wear what I wear, sing what I sing, do what I do."
Splendour will feature an 'Americana' stage this year where people will be able to listen to Americana music, Ms Collins said.
She said she will be out in the crowd "moshing" to some of her favourite bands.
"I'm honoured to be playing amongst some great artists that I love and to be sharing a festival with them is pretty amazing," she said.
Andy Golledge is another performer hailing from Tamworth and also features on the Splendour in the Grass line-up this year.
