Police have appealed for public help in tracking down two man who allegedly robbed a truck driver at gunpoint at a Boggabilla truck stop yesterday.

The truck driver was assaulted, left with minor injuries and was robbed of his phone in a confrontation at about 2am on Monday morning, police say.
The truck driver had been sleeping in his truck at a service station on the Newell highway when he heard noises.
He left his vehicle to investigate.

When he came back he was confronted by a pair of unknown men armed with a wheel brace and a long arm rifle, police allege.
The two men allegedly threatened the man before fleeing on foot after stealing his phone.
One of the men hit the 48-year-old driver with the wheel brace as he reached to get the phone, leaving him with minor injuries, police say.
Police from the New England police district have started an investigation into the incident.
They are appealing to the public for witnesses and motorists with dash camera footage to come forward to help with the investigation.
The first man is described as being about 170cm tall and wearing a black jacket, dark hat and a bandana covering his face, police say.
The second man has been described as being about 160cm tall and wearing a bandana covering his face.
