The group from Newcastle known as the Travelling Novocastrians, spent two days at the club bowling and helping the local economy.
Tamworth City Bowling Club treasurer Jon Rouvray said the group's travelling nature was similar to the Harlem Globetrotters.
"The group is constantly travelling and helping out small clubs like ours," Rouvray said.
"They first approached us late last year to organise a trip to our club and it was great to see them out here."

The weekend-long trip saw the group compete against teams of local bowlers, take part in the weekly raffles and engage with the community.
"All weekend the group stayed at local motels, ate at local restaurants and poured some funds into our local economy," Rouvray said.
Rouvray said the success of the tour left the club feeling confident of a return visit by the group.
"It was a wonderful experience, truly it was a special time for our club," he said.
"From all reports all of the guys really enjoyed their time here in Tamworth.
"They do travel everywhere and like to spread it around, but we're hopeful they might return to our club someday in the future."
