Just under 200 under-12s players were invited to attend the camp where they received tuition from some top coaches.
The fourth year it has been held in Tamworth, the concept behind the camp is 'to provide junior country basketballers with an enjoyable basketball experience that includes more than just direct head to head competition'.
There is a strong focus on participation, and along with games the 180 (90 boys and 90 girls) invited players also participate in coaching clinics and social activities.
The camp also incorporated a program for referees, providing 20 young referees the chance to learn, and put into practice the skills they had learnt.

The camp comes on the back of some good news on a selection front for a couple of local players, with Samantha McCubbin named in the NSW Country under-18s girls team to play at the 2020 Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup, and Arianna Klien the under-17s side to represent NSW Country at the 2020 Country Development Tournament.
The development tournament will be held at the Newcastle Basketball Stadium from January 4-7, while the ACJBC will take place in Albury from January 11-18
