The Saints defeated the Gunnedah Bulldogs last weekend in an impressive 18-12-120 to 10-9-69 win to lock in the minor premiership, albeit against an under strength side.
Their only loss this season came at the hands of the Bulldogs back in round six, going down by just 11 points, but had they been a little more accurate in front of goal on that day the result might have been different.
Since that loss, however, the Saints have rarely look in trouble, highlighted by the dominant performance against the second-placed Bulldogs.
With the bye this weekend, all their focus will now be on the major semi final, where they will once again host the Bulldogs.
They will expect a much tougher Bulldogs outfit for that all-important clash, with the winner advancing straight through to the decider.
To add to the club's success, the women and under-17s teams are also locked in for a top place finish.

The women have been the front runners all season, currently undefeated with one game remaining.
Their closest win came all the way back in round one, a 10-point triumph over the Nomads, but since then they haven't looked like losing.
The under-17s started the season off a little slow, suffering two heavy defeats at the hands of their main rival Moree Suns, but since have found their groove, beating the Suns in their last two meetings.
Last year, the Saints had all three teams go through to the grand final which was played in Inverell, with the senior men and under-17s able to take out the title.
Inverell held off a fourth-quarter comeback from the Gunnedah Bulldogs to win their first title since 2010, while the under-17s bounced back from a major semi final loss to the Suns with a dominant victory in the grand final.
The women were defeated in a tight affair against the Tamworth Kangaroos, something they will be looking to rectify this season.
Time will tell whether the Saints can repeat that feat and make it a clean sweep in the finals.
