With Tuesday bringing a dumping of snow for parts of the region, we thought we'd look back at 1984 when Tamworth turned into a white, winter wonderland.
Snow lined the streets, it was dumped on cars and it brought joy to school children across the district.
Here's a selection of photos from July, 1984 as locals enjoyed the pristine white blanket which dusted the district as far as the eye could see.
