The side, which also contains former Gunnedah junior Harry Wilson, will carry plenty of confidence into the tournament after securing their first-ever Oceania Championship with a 24-point whitewash of New Zealand on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.
Only the second time the Aussie U20s have beaten their Kiwi rivals, Abra said they were "all just over the moon", adding that it felt "very surreal".
"They were obviously going into the game favourites and it felt like they knew that also," he said.
"We had obviously been training hard to beat them and knew that they aren't a team you win by three points against."

"To win we had to bully them for the whole 80 minutes and take any opportunity we had."
The Wallabies consistently accumulated points through the boot of Will Harrison in the first half before crossing for two unanswered tries in the second half.
Abra said they will take a lot out of their performance going forward, finishing the tournament undefeated.
"As a team we hold such great culture that we will take overseas, but most importantly everyone in the team knows that our job isn't finished and winning the Oceania Cup is just the start," he said.
"We have a team that can possibly make it all the way and that's what we are striving for."
They will now have two weeks off before going back into camp in Sydney.
"We will spend 10 days there before heading to Argentina for the World Cup," Abra said.
The Wallabies have been drawn in Pool B alongside Italy, England and Ireland and kick-off their campaign against Italy on June 4.
