Q and A with James Treweeke
NDL: As a team, what key areas do you want to improve upon from 2018?
JT: I think we will be looking to improve on playing a really versatile type of game style that can suit every ground in the competition. Every ground is different so we will be looking to work on a game style that can suit every ground we play on.
Who has been your most improved player?
JT: I'd have to say that one of our juniors from last season, Morgan Dunn would be our most improved. He has spent some of the off season with the Northern Heat development team and the Sydney Swans academy. He killed it for us at the Crossroads Cup and from what I saw his fitness and skills have really improved.
NDL: What will be your team's strengths this season?
JT: We have a bit of a different look to us this year with some new tall players coming to the club. It is something we haven't really had in recent years and I would say it will be a strength of ours along with a new structure we are looking to bring in.
NDL: Who is the team to beat in 2019 and why?
JT: I would probably have to say Inverell but it is difficult given I didn't see them at the Crossroads Cup. From what I did see at the Crossroads Cup, I would have to say Gunnedah look like they will be difficult to beat again.
